Dru: Malcolm must've told her.
Neil: Malcolm? When?
Dru: I don't know.
Neil: Why would he do that?
Dru: I don't know!
Neil: Why would he tell her about private matters that have nothing to do with her?!
Dru: I can't speak for the man, Neil.
Neil: Let it go?! You tell me all this and you expect me you expect me to roll over and play dead like a dog? You'd want some answers, too, if the roles were reversed.
Dru: Neil, I'm sorry!
Neil: You're sorry? Yeah, you're sorry that I found out! That's what you're sorry about.
Dru: Neil, please!
Neil: No, "Neil" nothing!
Lily: Please, stop! Please, stop! It doesn't matter.
Dru: Lily, wait a minute! Wait a minute!
Lily: It doesn't matter anymore! You're always gonna be my fatheralways.
Neil: What do you mean "I'll always be your father." What the hell is going on here?
Man: We are gathered here today in the presence of God to celebrate the union of Brad and Victoria in the bonds of holy matrimony. As such, we bear witness to the love and commitment they have freely and willingly made to each other. Thus, if anyone present can show just cause why these two cannot be joined in marriage, let them speak now or forever hold their peace.
[Colleen walks in]
Victor: Let me take you to your seat, okay?
Man: Brad and Victoria have chosen to write their own vows.
Brad: Victoria... I wish I could find the words to express the love I feel when I look at you. I never thought I'd find someone who completes me the way you do. You are truly an incredible woman. You welcomed me and my daughters into your heart and into your life. Today, we embark on a journey. A journey that will take us to many new places. I can't promise you it will always be easy. But I can promise that I will love you and cherish you. And above all else, share what's in my heart with you every day for the rest of our lives.
J.T.: I don't know why I ever agreed to investigate Brad for Victor.
Paul: Well, I warned you.
J.T.: Yeah, you did. I should've listened. I just I hate lying to her about this, especially now.
Paul: So what are you gonna do?
J.T.: I could drop the case.
Paul: Not an option.
J.T.: Why not?
Paul: You already bailed on Victor once. Look, you accepted the case. Now you gotta see it through. We're still waiting on those records from Cleveland.
J.T.: The ones you gave Nikki awhile back?
Paul: Yeah, I opted at the time to keep them sealed. But now they could be exactly what we're looking for.
J.T.: Do you think there's anything in those files, do you? I mean, everything else has turned out to be a dead end.
Paul: As I said, maybe this is the lead you've been waiting for.
J.T.: And if it's not? Can I tell Victor that Brad's clean?
Paul: No, of course not. You were hired to do a job. You can't just bail now because you're uncomfortable.
J.T.: Victor kept saying that if I cared about Colleen, I would wanna know the whole truth everything there is to know about Brad.
Paul: Everybody has a past. The fact that we can't find Brad's raises a lot of questions. I mean, heck, even Jill, who hired him all those years ago, doesn't have any idea who he is really.
J.T.: The only person that knows anything is locked up in a mental institution.
Paul: His exwife, Lisa. She was completely obsessed with him. She practically killed him.
J.T.: That's crazy.
Paul: Yeah, her doctor came to the same conclusion. But look... there's more to it. Brad has said next to nothing about his upbringing.
J.T.: Well, that doesn't mean he's trying to hide anything. A lot of people try to put their childhoods behind them.
Paul: True. But for a guy who’s come from nothing, he certainly has married well.
Victoria: Brad, this day that we thought would never come is finally here. Can you imagine when we started just a few months ago that we'd be spending the rest of our lives together? When I came back from Italy, I was a woman whose heart had been broken in so many ways. I was resigned to never finding anyone who could see past all of that and just love me for who I am. But you were there through some of my darkest hours. And it was then that I saw what a wonderful and caring man you are. No one has brought to my life what you have. You're my friend and my partner. And being with you feels so natural. I love you with all of my heart. And I promise to be yours forever.
Man: Do you have the rings?
Man: Do you, Brad, take Victoria to be your lawfully wedded wife? To honor her and to love her, in sickness and in health, forsaking all others, for as long as you both shall live?
Brad: I do.
Man: And do you, Victoria, take Brad to be your lawfully wedded husband? To honor him and to love him, in sickness and in health, forsaking all others, for as long as you both shall live?
Victoria: I do.
Man: In the name of the father and the son and the holy spirit, and by the power invested in me by the state of Wisconsin, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride.
Neil: Dru, Lily, I want the truth.
Dru: What -- what Lily meant was what happened between Malcolm and me could never change the way she feels about you, honey.
Neil: Why would it? Lily? You learned about your Uncle Malcolm and your mother months ago. Why are you still upset with her now?
Lily: Because I never got over it.
Neil: But you said that your mother was lying about "everything else." What else? Lily... why'd you send that email?
Lily: I was mad at Mom. I was venting. Dad, I send emails like that about you, too, all the time.
Neil: Oh, yeah, sure you do. You send emails about me and Malcolm all the time.
Dru: We've all had our problems with Malcolm.
Neil: Last summer, when you ran away with Daniel, Malcolm was the one you called.
Lily: Yeah, but that's because I thought that... that he would be more understanding.
Neil: Right, right. So when you got married, you put down Malcolm’s name as your father on the consent form.
Lily: I told you
Dru: Yeah, because, um, you know, who was gonna find Malcolm? You're blowing it up for no reason, honey.
Neil: Why did you say that I'll always be your father? What made you say that?
Lily: Because, um... I didn't want you thinking I was upset with you. I came in, and you two were just arguing. And it scared me. And I guess I guess I just assumed...
Neil: What? What? Assumed what?
Dru: No, I can explain all of this, honey.
Neil: Drucilla, shut up. Not a word.
Neil: Lily? Sweetheart? This thing that happened between your mother and Malcolm, it happened so long ago, but I can tell it is still killing you. Don't let it, all right? See, you weren't even born when it...
Neil: Happened. Oh, my God. Oh, my God! I'm not your I'm not your father. Malcolm is.
Victoria: Sharon? If you want me to talk to Nicholas... I know that you two have been having problems. And I haven't wanted to pry, but I think that
Sharon: No, no, Victoria. Hey, forget about it, okay? Not today. This is your day.
Victoria: Thank you so much, Sharon. Thank you so much for standing up for me. And thank you for always be so supportive of Brad and me.
Brad: So your father came through.
Nick: Yeah, he never ceases to amaze me.
Brad: I'd like to believe it was sincere. No man wants to miss walking his daughter down the aisle.
Colleen: Hey, Dad.
Brad: Hey, honey.
Colleen: I just wanted to say congratulations.
Brad: Thank you. I can't tell you how much it means to me that you showed up today.
Colleen: Well, um, actually, you should thank J.T. 'Cause he's the one that convinced me to come so...
Man: Gentlemen... right this way.
Nick: I guess that's our cue.
Brad: I love you, honey. Thanks for coming.
Colleen: I love you, too.
Kay: Jack, um, a word with you.
Phyllis: Listen, I'm gonna go outside and get some fresh air.
Victor: We will see you at the ranch.
Nikki: So, Victor, I'm wondering why did you change your mind about Victoria?
Victor: Because, my darling, she's my daughter. And I'll protect her as much as I protected you, okay?
Nikki: Thank you.
Sharon: Oh, I'll go get the bouquet.
Victoria: Oh, thank you, Sharon.
Phyllis: Hi. So it was a lovely ceremony.
Nick: It really was.
Phyllis: Yeah. Especially when your father showed up.
Nick: I wouldn't read too much into that. I'm not.
Phyllis: Oh, okay. Well, it was sweet. I was surprised.
Nick: It made Vicki happy.
Phyllis: Well, that's what matters, right?
Nick: Yeah. So how's Jack?
Phyllis: So how's Sharon? Nick, go ahead.
Nick: No. You go first.
Nick: Seriously, how have you been?
Phyllis: Uh, good, good. Uh, I wasn't going to come, but Jack insisted so... how are you?
Nick: You know...
Phyllis: I saw you and Sharon at the ceremony and...
Nick: It was for Vicki’s sake. We're barely speaking.
Phyllis: It's that bad?
Nick: I've been trying. But... you know, Noah knows something's wrong. He sees us fighting.
Phyllis: Oh, that's tough.
Nick: He's afraid he's gonna lose his family.
Phyllis: Well, you can reassure him that that's not gonna happen, right? You can do that. You can reassure him, can't you, Nick?
Nick: Sharon wants a separation. I'm getting my own place.
Phyllis: You're moving out?
Nick: I'm starting to think it's my only shot. Give Sharon some time to sort out her emotions.
Phyllis: But you're still committed?
Nick: I will never quit on my family.
Phyllis: I know that. I hope you guys get through it. I really do. You've been through so much.
Nick: You know, you're, um, you're great. You're like my best friend now.
Jack: Please forgive my interrupting. Uh, I got a meeting at Jabot. Can I drop you off at the ranch?
Phyllis: Um, no, actually, I have some work to do at Jabot as well so...
Nick: Yeah, I've I've got pictures I gotta take so...
Jack: Okay. See you later, Nick.
Nick: See you.
Jack: Ready to go?
Phyllis: Uh, huh, let's go.
Lily: Dad, I'm sorry. I thought you knew.
Neil: You lied to me... about Lily.
Dru: No... I didn't lie to you, baby. I swear to God. I always thought you were her father. It was 17 years ago, baby. You are the only daddy she's ever had.
Neil: Did you know? Back then did you know?
Dru: No, baby, I didn’t.
Neil: When did you find out?
Dru: When Malcolm came to town, he pressed me for a paternity test.
Neil: Why? Why would you do that? Why would you wanna know now? God, couldn't you just couldn't you let it go?
Man: That's it. Perfect! You're all done.
Nick: All right!
Victoria: Good, now I can change.
Nick: I'll, uh... I'll take Noah over to the reception.
Nick: You look beautiful.
Sharon: Need any help with anything?
Victoria: No, I think I've got it all under control. I'll see you in the limo.
Sharon: So it was a beautiful ceremony. I've never seen Victoria happier.
Brad: I intend to keep her that way.
Sharon: I hope you do. Honestly, Brad, I... I wish you all the best.
Brad: Thanks, Sharon. That means a lot. I appreciate that. I'm sorry for what you're going through with Nick.
Sharon: Don't be. It's okay. I mean, I... I've been through worse, you know?
Brad: Hey, don't cry.
Sharon: I'm trying not to.
Brad: You're one of the most amazing women I know. And with or without Nick, you're going to be just fine.
Sharon: Thank you.
Brad: You take care of yourself, okay?
J.T.: So here it is... the file from Cleveland.
Paul: This time you better believe I'm gonna open it.
Lily: Dad? It's okay. It doesn't matter to me. It doesn’t.
Neil: Of course it doesn't, baby. You'll always be my baby. Always. Listen, I have to talk to your mother for a little while, okay? Hey... I love you. I will always love you. I will love you till the day that I die. Do you hear me?
Lily: I know, Daddy.
Neil: Forget me... look at what you did. Look at what you did to that girl! Look at what you did to Lily!
Dru: Neil, I never meant to hurt Lily.
Neil: Don't say that. Don't say you never meant to hurt Lily. Don't say you never meant to sleep with Malcolm.
Dru: Oh, Neil...
Neil: Don't tell me anything that you never meant to do, because I don't believe not one word coming out of your mouth!
Colleen: Well, it's over. Victoria and my dad are husband and wife. Just come rescue me. I'm at the reception at the Newman’s.
J.T.: I can’t.
Colleen: Why? What's so important?
J.T.: I'm working with Paul, all right? So just enjoy the reception. Give everybody my best. I'll talk to you later.
Colleen: Okay, fine.
Paul: It seems that Brad got into a little trouble as a juvenile.
J.T.: What kind of trouble?
Paul: Shoplifting, vandalismnothing serious.
J.T.: All right, so what's the big deal?
Jill: Thank you.
Victor: Here you go, my sweetheart.
Nikki: Thank you.
Victoria: Daddy? I didn't have the chance to thank you. And I know that your feelings for Brad probably haven't changed, but what you did meant so much to me.
Victor: I just want you to be happy, okay?
Nikki: She is happy. It's her wedding day. She is glowing.
Victoria: And thank you, Mom. I'm so glad you were there.
Nikki: Oh, my angel.
Victor: Excuse me, but I'm going to talk to Ashley about Jabot, okay? I wanna know what's going on.
Nikki: All right, darling, yeah. You know... I think after today he might be warming up a little bit. Hopefully, we won't have to fight him for control of the company.
Nick: I wouldn't count on it, Mom.
Abby: Wanna go feed the horses? Why not?
Noah: I don't feel like it.
Sharon: Honey, you should go. Miguel, will you take the kids down to the stables?
Miguel: Certainly, Sharon.
Noah: I don't wanna go, Mom.
Nick: Come on, little man, you don't want her to go down there by herself, do you?
Noah: Will you still be here when I get back?
Nick: You bet I will.
Sharon: You shouldn't have lied to him, Nick.
Nick: I'm not lying to him. You can kick me out of our house if you want, but this is one place I will always be welcome.
Jack: You're sending this out to the press? This is too much information.
Carmen: We need to be totally upfront with the public if we're going to restore Jabot's image.
Jack: This is overkill. This could hurt us.
Carmen: There's already an across the board boycott of Jabot products, Jack. Things can't get worse.
Jack: Okay, maybe if we tweaked the first part.
Carmen: Mrs. Chancellor already approved it. I just wanted you to have a chance to look at it before I sent it out. Oh, and, by the way, you're gonna issue a statement of your own. But we'll talk about that tomorrow. Bye.
Phyllis: Bye. Nice to have met you.
Carmen: You, too.
Phyllis: I like her. Very impressive. Not many people can go toe-to-toe with you and win.
Brad: I appreciate what you did for Victoria.
Victor: Thank you, Bradley.
Brad: I know how much it meant to her... and to me. I hope that someday maybe you can accept us.
Nikki: Hey, down here. You guys okay? Everything all right?
Brad: Yeah, everything's fine. If you'll excuse me.
Nikki: I think he's trying to make peace with you.
Victor: You want me to give him my blessing?
Nikki: Why not? You walked Victoria down the aisle. This is not the time for us to be divided.
Victor: Ladies and gentlemen, may I have your attention for a moment? I would like to propose a toast.
Dru: Go on, Neil. Yell at me. I know you're mad, baby. And I know I should've told you everything when I found out, but I couldn’t. I didn't want your heart to break the way mine did. When I found out I was shattered. I wanted to take this secret to my grave. And Malcolm never wanted you to know. He didn't tell Lily. He's gone. He left town. And Lily will always be our daughter.
Neil: Then why did you tell Lily? Why did you do that?
Dru: Because Phyllis and her fat mouth she was arguing with me. Phyllis knew about the test. And Lily overheard us. And I begged her I begged her to keep the secret.
Neil: You did that to a child. Wow. You really know how to hurt people. You made her keep a secret from her own father. I'm not her father.
Dru: Oh, but you are, Neil. You are her father in every way. And you can say that you're not to hurt me. But you are her father, Neil. Please... you know that you could not even tell her that you weren't when she was walking out the door. Neil, you are her father. You always will be.
Victor: It is no secret to most of you that I've been most reluctant to embrace this marriage. In fact, I wasn't sure I was going to be part of the proceedings until I stepped into the church. But then something happened two nights ago... I almost lost my beautiful wife, your mother. And I realized how fleeting it all is how precious life is. And how we must embrace it. And how hostilities within families need to be resolved. They serve no purpose. So I would like you all to raise your glasses... to Bradley and Victoria. May God bless you. And may all the happiness in the world come to you. And may you have many years to enjoy it.
Sharon: Hear, hear.
Brad: Thank you, Victor.
Victoria: Thank you, Daddy. I love you.
Brad: What do you make of that?
Nick: He's definitely up to something. Hope you know what you're getting yourself into.
Jack: It's funny. Sometimes, I feel so close to you. Other times, I couldn't feel further away.
Phyllis: Yeah, we have a pretty crazy relationship.
Jack: Well, you can say that again.
Phyllis: It keeps things interesting.
Jack: You know that some of the best times of my life were when we were getting back together?
Phyllis: I'd hate to ask about the worst.
Jack: I think you were part of those, too. It hurts like hell when we break up.
Phyllis: Well, we can't seem to get enough of each other.
Jack: I was thinking at the wedding about the last time we spent the night together at my place how amazing that was. I thought then, "This is the beginning of a whole new chapter for us." Then this whole Gloagain thing happened, and once again, I abandoned you.
Phyllis: Oh, no, listen, Jack, you're always there for me when it counts.
Jack: I hope so. I adore you. I really do.
Dru: Neil... Neil... I wish you could understand how painful this is for me, too. I wish you'd wrap your arms around me and hold me and tell me that everything is gonna be all right. That's what I wanna do to you. I just wanna take my arms, and I wanna I wanna hold you and rock you and tell you that everything's gonna be okay.
Neil: Get away from me.
Dru: Neil! Neil, what happened between Malcolm and me it was a mistake.
Neil: You know what? I feel like the last 17 years of my life... has been ripped apart.
Dru: No, no, Neil. No. Everything that we have been to each other as a family is real! Every Christmas and Thanksgiving and birthday and Father's day you have been a father to Lily in every way.
Neil: You see, here's the problem you kept this secret from me for years... and years.
Dru: I didn't know. I didn't know, honey, honest.
Neil: You knew that there was a possibility. And that changes everything everything.
Victor: Drive safely!
Nick: Oh, you got me! I'll get you back.
Victor: Well, where are the newlyweds?
Nikki: Well, they're getting ready to go on their honeymoon as short as it is.
Nick: Well, I'm sure they don't wanna be gone too long.
Sharon: I think I'll take Noah home.
Nick: Okay. I'll, uh, I'll see you tomorrow, bud.
Nick: Oh, you know I promise. I love you.
Noah: I love you, too.
Nick: All right.
Victor: Good night, my boy.
Noah: Good night.
Victor: You look great! You look sharp in that suit.
Nikki: Bye, champ. I'll see you tomorrow.
Sharon: Good night, Nikki.
Nikki: Good night, Sharon. Thank you.
Nikki: Aren't you gonna go with them?
Nick: Not tonight.
Victor: Why not, son?
Nick: Sharon and I are getting a separation. I'm moving out.
Jack: These past few weeks I don't know how I could've gotten through it all without you. I don't have anyone else. I better head out of here. Go check on Carmen. See if I still have any clout around here.
(Cell phone ringing)
Phyllis: Hello? Oh, hey, Dr. Bohra. Uh... no, listen, you mixed up my chart with somebody else’s. That's -- that's not me. No, no, I'm telling you. It’s... Dr. Bohra... there's no way I'm pregnant.
J.T.: Brad's juvenile offenses were minor. He didn't even spend any time in juvie. He just got sentenced to probation.
J.T.: So why would he care if that got out?
Paul: I'll show you.
J.T.: Who's that?
[The files has a photo of the “real” Bradley Carlton,he has blonde hair]
Paul: Bradley Carlton.
J.T.: Yeah, I see that. But that... that's not Brad. It's gotta be someone with the same name there. It's a big city, right?
Paul: You think that they might've mixed up the files?
Paul: Wait a minute. Let's check the social security number.
J.T.: No way.
Paul: Two people with the same name in a city the size of Cleveland that I believe. But with the exact same social security number impossible.
Victoria: So this is it... the rest of our lives.
Brad: Ready for the honeymoon?
Victoria: Yeah. And everything else. I can't wait to share every minute with you... every experience.
Brad: Neither can I. I never felt closer to anyone in my life.
J.T.: So if that's the real Brad Carlton...
Paul: Then the one who's been living in Genoa City all these years isn't who he says he is.
J.T.: So who is he?
