Swedish School Signs for 15K s/f on LES

Kunskapsskolan USA, a Swedish-based school, has signed a 15,000-square-foot deal at 38 Delancey Street on the Lower East Side to serve as a long-term location for a middle school the organization opened in the city last year.

The school, which Kunskapsskolan calls Innovate Manhattan, committed to the spaced for 10 years. It will be relocating to 38 Delancey Street from 52 Chamber Street, a space it took last year to begin operations in the city preliminarily until it could find a more permanent home.

Lee & Associates is moving into a new 22,000 square foot office at 600 Madison Avenue to accommodate the real estate services firm’s surging growth in recent months.

The company is taking the entire third floor of 600 Madison Avenue in a four-year sublease from Tiffany & Co., the jewelry company that vacated the property last year to relocate to the high end Midtown South building 200 Fifth Avenue.

Tech Hub Draws Enterpoid to 56 W. 22nd

Mobile platform developer Enterproid Inc. has signed on for 10,000 square feet of space at 56 West 22nd Street, the Flatiron district building perhaps best known as the home to pastry aficionados’ dream New York Cakes & Baking Supply.

According to Perry Mesmer, an executive managing director in the New York office of Colliers International, Enterproid will move into the space sometime in the next few weeks. Mesmer represented landlord Fifty Six Realty Corp. in the lease, while associate Adam Maxson and managing director Douglas Regal, from ABS Partners Real Estate, represented Enterproid.

The leasehold on 16 West 36th Street, a roughly 65,000 square foot office building, has been sold for $8.2 million.

NorthEnd Equities, an investment company run by investor Charles Herzka, will acquire the 12-story building from a group called Beach Plaza Associates.
