What is the Archives Association of British Columbia?The Archives Association of British Columbia (AABC) was established in 1990 through the amalgamation of the Association of British Columbia Archivists and the B.C. Archives Council. The merging of these two organizations has allowed the AABC to speak on behalf of both archivists and archival institutions across the province. As a member of the B.C. Heritage Council, the AABC is committed to working to preserve British Columbia's documentary heritage. As a member of the Canadian Council of Archives, the Association represents archival institutions in B.C. at the national level.
