• Electronic Forum on Designation of Stellar Companions
  
  A multi-commission meeting has been scheduled for the next IAU General Assembly for the designations of stellar companions. This joint discussion will have implications for double stars (resolved and unresolved) as well as other companions of stars, e.g., brown dwarfs and planets. A home page for the meeting was set up on the USNO web site by Brian Mason.
