MANCHESTER — Police on Wednesday arrested a 21-year-old man on drug charges after receiving information that narcotic activity was taking place at his home.

Colton Perznaowski, of 94 East Middle Turnpike, was charged with possession of marijuana, operating a drug factory, possession of psilocybin mushrooms and possession of drug paraphernalia, among other charges. He was held with bail set at $75,000.

While searching Pernaowski's apartment, officers from the East Central Narcotics Task Force found a psilocybin mushroom operation from his bedroom. Officers seized spores, lights and seven different actively growing psilocybin mushroom cakes from the bedroom.

Task force members also seized a small amount of marijuana, and other drug paraphernalia from the residence.
