Accommodation type

B&B; Homestay
The accommodation is in a private home and you are treated like one of the family. Your hosts
ensure your stay is a pleasant and memorable one. Bed and breakfast is included in your stay
and some hosts provide dinner. The owners take great delight in sharing their home and their
local knowledge with you.

B&B; Cottage
Self catering, self contained accommodation, in cities, in the country or on farms; quite often in
out of the way places. Your host may often live nearby but this is not always the case. A basket
breakfast may be supplied in some instances.

B&B; Apartments or Suites
Generally self contained accommodation, usually providing breakfast, sometimes room service
and guest dining room. Quite often a town version of the B&B; Cottage.

B&B; Farmstay
On these visits you will be accommodated on a rural property. Your stay will include bed and
breakfast and sometimes other meals. Often there may be opportunities for some farm involvement.

B&B; Inn
Usually a larger establishment that caters for the person who wishes to retain their privacy but
chooses the intimate environment of the B&B; over a large hotel. Breakfast is offered, sometimes dinner.

B&B; Country House or Country Inn
An establishment that typified the country style of life - laid back, relaxed and away from it all.
Evening meals are often included.

Unique Retreat
May be any one of the above but with that extra something that will linger in your memory ……..

Weddings, business trips and conferences
A number of the B&Bs; listed with us also provide excellent facilities for your conference or offisite
business meeting. And if you are looking for a wedding in a romantic, secluded location, you can't
go past one our of larger establishments that will cater for your every need.They will not only
accommodate your closest family and friends, but can also look after all your catering needs as
well. If you are interested in the facilities on offer, or would like B&Beyond; Sydney to take care of
your plans, just contact us with your details and we'll do the rest.

Arrival information
Your hosts are happy to welcome visitors to their home to fit in with your schedule. Check in time
is usually after 1 pm. Please refer to individual listings where check in times are noted. If you are
arriving early for any reason your room may not be ready but you will be welcome to leave your
luggage and I am sure your hosts are likely to offer you a cup of tea or coffee. Please advise your
host directly if you wish to check in after 5pm.

Check out time is usually between 10.30am and noon but please verify this with your host on arrival.

We want to take care of everything before you arrive, so we will ask you for your arrival time when
you make your booking and pass this information onto your host.

In the event of a change to your advised arrival time you may wish to contact your host directly if
closer to your arrival day.

Getting there
Where we have been provided with directions, you will receive this information in your booking
confirmation. If you need instructions on how to find your B&B;, please let us know and we will
provide you with directions and any particular information you need to find the location.

Children
Not all B&Bs; are able to accommodate children. Please refer to individual listings for comments.

Pets
Please advise in your booking if you anticipate bringing along your pets. Individual listings will
indicate if pets are catered for.

Smoking
Many establishments only allow smoking outdoors. Please refer to individual listings in regards to
their smoking policy. Smokers are requested to observe your hosts’ policy in this regard.

Special needs
If you have any particular requirements please advise us at the time of booking and we will make
enquiries with your hosts when confirming your booking. We can then establish whether your
request can be met, so both you and your hosts are comfortable with arrangements.

People with a disability
As most B&Bs; are in private homes, not all are equipped for travellers with a disability. If you
have personal requirements, please let us know and we will direct you to an establishment
equipped to provide suitable accommodation. A number of our B&Bs; provide facilities and these
are noted on the details page.
