Development kits

Development kits provide the information you need to take advantage of the latest Apple technologies. These kits are available in the Development Kits Folder on our FTP site. They can also be found on the Mac OS SDK CD-ROMs as part of the Developer CD Series.

Note: For many of these development kits, you will also need to download Disk Copy.

Universal Interfaces

These development kits contain the latest interfaces and libraries for the majority of Apple's Mac OS technologies. Use these headers and libraries with your development environment.

You can get SDKs for the following technologies from the QuickTime developer area.

  • Apple Color OneScanner There is no current development being done on the Apple Color OneScanner.

  • Installer SDK Documentation, tools and sample code for writing installer scripts that work with the Apple Installer and Apple Upgrader.
