Several services are available including a public Lookup/Search tool for finding people at UW. Some services will require that you login with your UWdir userid and password.

• Lookup/Search -- a service to help find faculty, staff and students in the published portion of the UWdir directory. UWdir also manages users who are not published in this directory (eg. privacy concerns may mean some users choose not to be published).

• SignOn with UWdir -- for current UW users to obtain a UWdir userid and password.

• Change Your Password -- for users with a UWdir userid and password to change their password.

• Update Your UWdir Data -- to update the Email address, Fax number, Web page etc.

• Privileged Access to UWdir Data -- restricted access to a few trusted users.

Authentication services are protected by the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) using a certificate signed by the IST Certificate Authority. If you have not done so already, you should load the certificate for that authority -- click here and follow the instructions.
