Is Thailand been cheated by the American legal system

General NewsProbably everybody following the news in Thailand, knows about the story of John Mark Karr a American citizen arrest in Bangkok and then extradited to the court in Colorado, USA on murder charges.

Everybody reading this, will say 'good' justice is serviced, but now it comes, after a short investigation into the case by the Colorado police and justice system, all charges against him are dropped. Early in the investigation (1996) Boulder Colorado police officers where already aware that the suspect was never in Boulder at the time of the crime.

Though Mr. John Mark Karr was cleared of the charges in Colorado, he remained in the Colorado Boulder County jail awaiting extradition to the state of California, for charges he would probably never been extradited to the USA on the first place.

The Colorado Boulder District Attorney Mary Lacy has said that “bringing Mr. Karr back from Thailand was the only way to get a reliable DNA sample from him” so they have not confident of the Thai legal system, or have knowledge about American FBI personal attracted to the American embassy.

It would be time that Thailand receives it extradition policies with some of its partners, in the case of Mr. John Mark Karr I suspect that he would not be welcome in Thailand anymore. So by the work of the Boulder District Attorney Mary Lacy, John Mark Karr, innocent, is black listed to enter Thailand, and would not be able to meet people he loved.

I do not know if Mr. Karr is did it or not, but I’m sure that many parents will sleep better in Thailand, knowing they not have to worry.

John Mark Karr walked out of jail and into the world - a different world than the one he had last seen. Now, a little over a month after his initial capture, Karr was a real and strange kind of celebrity.

Thailand extradited him to the USA, as he is now found not guilty, can this guy come back to Thailand?
