auto copy link to clipboard
A lot of these new short link diddly sites do an auto-copy of the short URL to the clipboard (I think they use flash??) Anyway, it would be cool to have a non-auto-copy bookmarklet (like you have now) as well as a auto-copy to clipboard bookmarklet. All the same features you have now, but with the addition of the auto-copy thingie. Just in case I want it for something else in another window (i.e. email, chat, etc...)

let me to import my logged-out link history onto my account
I created 6 or 7 links before I ever signed up for an account.
When I am logged out, I see them all on the home page under "recent". When I log in, however, I have zero links in my history.
When I log in, and there are links saved in a cookie, it should ask me to import them to my account.

display number of clicks next to the links in history view
Displaying the number of hits next to the links gives me a quick overview, how popular the last links are that I have posted. It saves me, visiting the separate info pages or using the search.

Post to identi.ca
Identi.ca is an Open Source microblogging service. It's API is a clone of Twitter's, so it's dead easy to implement when you already have support for Twitter. Laconica is the software that identi.ca runs on and that anyone can install on their own server, like Leo Laporte has done on army.twit.com. It's easy to support any Laconica installation. You could take a look at how twitterfeed.com does it.
You should also set up an account for bit.ly on identi.ca and use it as actively as the one on Twitter!

new feature
input a list of bit.ly urls and have the bit.ly/info details on them aggregated. at the moment i can only do bit.ly/info for 1 url but I'd like to see them for lots of urls. basically i'm using it from twitterfeed and would like to get a weekly/monthly graphic on how many people click the links i send out.

OpenID Login Support
I would prefer not to use my Twitter login, but I also don't want to have to create a new username and password. If tr.im supported OpenID login, people could use one of many existing accounts that provide OpenID support.

allow users to delete a shortened URL
I liked SNURL due to the ability to track/sort hits and came back to bit.ly when you enabled login since you get much more tracking data. However, sometimes I shorten a URL, but don't use it - at which point I want to remove it from the stream of recent URLs. Thanks!

Add link creation date to API
Your api is AWESOME for generating tracking reports, but it'd be nice to know when each link was created.
It would be very useful to me if you could store the bit.ly link creation date along with the other meta data for each link and if the date were available via the api.

The font in the GMail gadget
HI,
I use the gadget ans it's really usefull, thank you!
But I have a little problem...
The default font when I'm composing email is Sans serif in normal size. But the text than produce the gadget is with Serif in large size; so I have the change the font every time I'm using it in the text composing area.
Is it possible to make some changes?

email link to create new email with URL
On the iPhone, there is no copy and paste. When I want to email a bit.ly URL that I have generated, I have to memorize it and then launch mail on the iPhone and type it in.
A great feature on the page where the URL is generated, along with the copy link, would be a link with a mailto:// URL so that it would open the mail application on the iPhone and populate the body with the bit.ly URL.

Add a preview option (cookie), showing the URL w/o redirect.
Like tinyurl, an option to show a page with the URL instead of simply auto-redirecting would be greatly appreciated. This should be available to all users, including unregistered users.

Summary of click through stats
Check out budurl.com these guys are providing summary stats of hits across all the URLs a user shortens. Your URLs are still shorter, but that is a pretty compelling feature.

Remove punctuation after URLs automatically
At the moment, if someone puts a bit.ly URL at the end of a sentence, some email and Twitter clients don't recognize the punctuation and send the browser the URL with the period or exclamation at the end. Then the URL isn't found. Simply strip any punctuation off the end and send the user on their way!

change your login form
My browser can't memorize my login and password. I think is because of the popin form. a simple form in the page should work.

allow users to export click data for all shortened urls
If you post a lot of links using bit.ly on various subjects, it's useful to export them all at once to see at a glance which links got the most click-thru traffic.

My url is being marked as spam (but it's not spam!)
Hey,
I used bit.ly to create a link to a blog post on our company blog:
but it's been marked as "this site may contain unsolicited content.". I've checked on the SURBL list mentioned, but we're not blacklisted.
Any ideas why??

A great addition would be to allow users to post to their Facebook, LinkedIn, or MySpace accounts.

automatically import links from twitter
monitor my twitter username feed. Any bit.ly links should automatically appear in my bit.ly account when I log in so I can monitor my click through stats. Look at tweetburner.com for inspiration. Bit.ly - great stats. Poor twitter integration unless you tweet through the bit.ly service.
