On the Commons, founded in 2001, is a commons movement strategy center. OTC believes that if we don’t rise up to protect all that we share for today and future generations, life as we know it will be fundamentally changed. To do this, we publish Commons Magazine, the largest source of commons news and analysis publication and we catalyze ways to create new models to promote ecological protection and build equitable communities, such as the Great Lakes Commons.
