I am receiving a cookies error message when I try to register on your site.
If you have tried to register previously, and are receiving a message that your cookies are not enabled, please delete any cookies containing 'washingtonpost' in their names and re-submit your registration information. Here's how:
Internet Explorer (Windows)
1. Close your browser and reopen it (this will clear information from the browser memory)
2. On the 'Tools' menu, click 'Internet Options', and then click the 'General' tab (this is usually already selected).
3. In the 'Temporary Internet Files' section, click 'Settings'.
4. Click the 'View Files...' button.
5. In the list of temporary Internet files that opens up please delete all the files with "washingtonpost" in their name (many versions of Windows have a search feature in the top bar of this window to help locate files).
6. Once you have deleted those files with 'washingtonpost' in their name you can close the window then select 'OK' on the 'Settings' window and 'OK' on the 'Internet Options' window.
7. You should now be able to register or sign in (using "Already Registered")
Netscape (Windows)
1. Close your browser.
2. Double-click the My Computer icon.
3. Double-click the C: drive icon.
4. Double-click the Program Files folder.
5. Double-click the Netscape folder.
6. Double-click the Users folder.
7. Double-click the Default folder
8. Delete the cookies.txt file.
9. If prompted to confirm the deletion, hit the "yes" button.
10. Close all windows.
11. You should now be able to register or sign in (using "Already Registered").
Mozilla (Windows)
1. Go to Edit (in the Menu bar) and select "Preferences."
2. Click on the "+" sign to the left of "Privacy & Security."
3. Click on "Cookies" then the "Manage Stored Cookies" button.
4. Select each cookie with "washingtonpost" (there could be several) under the "Site" row and then click the "Remove Cookie" button for each cookie.
5. When done removing all the washingtonpost cookies click "Close."
6. Now click "OK" on the Preferences box.
7. You should now be able to register or sign in (using "Already Registered").

1. In Internet Explorer select "Explorer" then "Preferences"
2. Under "Receiving Files" select "Cookies"
3. Delete all washingtonpost cookies (there could be several)
4. Close the "Preferences" box
5. You should now be able to register or sign in (using "Already Registered")
Safari (Mac)
1. Under "Preferences" select the "Security" area
2. In the "Accept Cookies" area click on "Show Cookies"
3. Find and delete all washingtonpost cookies (there could be several)
4. Close the "Security" and "Preferences" areas
5. You should now be able to register or sign in (using "Already Registered")
