Welcome to CVcat/TPP!

CVcat/TPP is a web-based interactive database on Cataclysmic Variable Stars. Access to the database is restricted to registered users since all users are allowed to add information. If you would like to become a registered user of CVcat/TPP, please send us your personal data (name, e-mail address, affiliation). We attempt to process all requests within 24 hours.

The status of CVcat/TPP is a software feasibility study.

Currently, a team at the university observatory Göttingen is developing the next generation of CVcat based on a more general software framework called AstroCat. AstroCat/CVcat will be more user friendly and will provide several interesting new functions. Please find additional information on AstroCat at our project home page.

We encourage all users to contribute to the development of the new catalogue software with suggestions and ideas! Please send your comments to the development team.

We also provide a demonstration version (without interactive elements) of the new AstroCat/CVcat.
