DON'T BUY
EMI! EMI represent a lot of artists, so take a look over the list and decide whether you can do without buying new EMI products of these people. It won't be easy - I was just about to buy both Radiohead c.ds the other day when I stopped to check, and had to refrain from giving EMI my money, and will instead look to buy them second hand.

EMI publishes sheet music for many artists, from other record labels, so if you're in the market for sheet music be sure to check the publisher, even if you know the artist's records are not published by EMI.
