Mailing Lists

Plone has several mailing lists where you can ask questions, discuss Plone in general, and get useful guidelines on how to approach specific problems you might have.

The Plone-specific mailing lists are:

Plone Users mailing list

Discusses general issues and questions related to normal use and customization of Plone.

Plone Documentation mailing list

Discusses the creation of new documentation and improvements to the existing one. Please help out if you use Plone, even if you're completely new to the system. You will have valuable experience along the way.

Plone Developers mailing list

Discusses general development of Plone itself, you will find most of the developers on this mailing list.

Plone Internationalization (i18n) list

Discusses how to contribute with Plone translations, coordinates the different efforts, and are generally responsible for bug reports and feature requests with regard to translation of Plone.

Zope & CMF mailing lists

There is a big mailing list community in the Zope and CMF world. More information on these can be found on this page at Zope.org - they are very helpful for problems not directly related to Plone.
