L’espace que vous visitez maintenant est conçu comme un outil à la dispostion des jeunes désirant s’investir dans le domaine des droits de l’homme en ce qui concerne le SIDA.
 

Trio1web.jpg Pourquoi les droits de l’homme sont-ils importants ?

Quand les droits de l’homme sont bafoués, les gens sont moins enclins à rechercher du soutien ou des conseils puisque cela peut signifier pour eux être victime de discrimination, manquer de confidentialité ou se heurter à toutes sortes de réactions négatives. La défense des droits de l’homme est par conséquent essentielle pour limiter l’extension de l’épidémie. Les jeunes sont au centre de l’action pour les droits de l’homme afin de dérouter le SIDA et de lutter contre les discriminations.

Comment se rendre utile ? Cet espace vous offre plusieurs possibilités :

  • Vous pouvez communiquer et partager vos expériences avec d’autres jeunes ayant les mêmes intérêts ;
  • Vous pouvez trouver des informations et des idées dans le domaine des droits de l’homme concernant le SIDA ;
  • Vous pouvez trouver des informations sur les activités de l’UNESCO pour encourager les jeunes à s’investir dans la lutte contre le SIDA dans le monde entier : les ateliers SIDA et droits de l’homme.

    robert_small.jpgRobert, 27, started to work as an HIV/AIDS activist in his high school’s anti-AIDS club, and now he is working as a project coordinator for Africa Alive!, in Zambia. Africa Alive! adopts innovative approaches, such as disseminating HIV/AIDS awareness messages in youth entertainment activities: concerts, rap sessions, soccer matches, etc...to fight against HIV/AIDS.
