| The aim of this meeting was to provide all members of COMEST with up-to-date information on the work carried out by the sub-commissions and their achievements, to exchange views on the medium term strategy and future programme of UNESCO in the field of ethics of science and technology and to make suggestions for the programme of the statutory meeting of COMEST in September 2001. |
