PWGSC manages a $6.8-billion inventory of real property, about 30 percent of the federal government real property across Canada. We negotiate and administer 3,000 leases worth $500 million a year, and provide office accommodation and other facilities for more than 160,000 public servants. PWGSC has established a National Service Call Centre to handle requests for building services in most of the buildings we own or lease. The Centre provides quick and efficient responses to an estimated 100,000 calls each year.
