We are sorry but sftp have strange behavior (work well for
some users, badlyu for others.
Only loic can handle this problem but actually he can't. But
normally you should be able to do classical taskes as usual
with rsync/scp.

I tried
sftp -1 positrone@freesoftware.fsf.org:/upload/epsilon
but the answer is still
Connecting to freesoftware.fsf.org...
You tried to execute: `/usr/local/bin/cvssh -c
/usr/local/libexec/sftp-server'.
Sorry, you are only allowed to execute :
CVS_RSH=ssh cvs commands
rsync from /cvsroot or /upload.
rsync to /upload.
sftp to and from /upload.
Connection closed
I don't know what to do. |

I would like to reorganize the files of the download
area of my project (also to save your disk space), but
there seems to be no way to use sftp. The command I use is
sftp -1 positrone@freesoftware.fsf.org:/epsilon/
and the only answer I get is
Connecting to freesoftware.fsf.org...
You tried to execute: `/usr/local/bin/cvssh -c
/usr/local/libexec/sftp-server'.

sftp to and from /upload.

The connection was from GNU/Linux x86, OpenSSH_2.9p2
The problem seems to be exactly the same also when I
connect from different machines than mine, with
different versions of SSH.
Thanks in advance |
