The Ministry of Sustainable Resources (MSRM) 'Southern Interior Region' (SIR) is located in the south interior of British Columbia. It generally covers the Thompson & Okanagan watersheds with the administrative boundary being the the same as Kamloops Forest Region. Administration is based out of Kamloops with 'hubs' in Vernon (for Okanagan Planning) and Penticton (for Okanagan Water Allocation).
