Access Our Legacy Site

We recently launched the new version of the website for the Space Telescope Science Institute (STScI)—which you are currently navigating. The first launch includes content primarily suited for the general public—who we are, our news section, details about our communications and outreach initiatives, and opportunities for employment. In the coming months, we will launch the remaining sections of the website, which include events, and two in-depth sections designed primarily for a scientific audience. All of our content will continue to connect—from this website to our legacy site—throughout the transition.

This page also connects you to the sections that only appear on our legacy website:

  • Links to pages dedicated to our work for our missions, the Hubble Space Telescope (HST), the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST), the Wide Field Infrared Survey Telescope (WFIRST);
  • Our data archives, the Mikulski Archive for Space Telescopes (MAST);
  • Our support of future missions and concepts;
  • Research; and
  • Events.

Click the appropriate links that appear in white text below to find additional resources. Pages shown in gray text have migrated to the new version of the institute’s website; use the orange menu button in the top-right corner of this website—or the search function—to find the information you need.
