About Registration and Analytics
Although registration isn't required to use AddThis, it's free and allows you to use our in-depth analytics reports to better understand your site's social traffic. To register, just click Join Now which appears at the top right of every page when a user is not signed in. Registering is easy – all you need is an email address and a password. Did we mention that it's free?
Want to register even faster? You can also register using your Facebook, Twitter, Google, or OpenID account – with one click. You can disconnect these accounts at any time in your account settings.
Help! I didn't register – how do I get analytics?
If you installed AddThis code on your site in the past but didn't register, getting analytics is easy. Just register to create your own account, and then get new AddThis code once you are signed in. After you have installed this new code on your site and data begins to be collected, you will have access to analytics reports for that domain.
If you have been using AddThis on your site but didn't register, we may be able to retrieve analytics for your domain. Please complete the form at the bottom of the Contact Us page to request assistance from our support team.
Changing your email address or password
To change your account's email address or password, make sure you are signed in and select Settings from the dropdown menu in the top right corner of every page, under your name or email address. Be sure to enter your email address correctly, as this is the address to which announcements, notifications and analytics reports will be sent.
Retrieving your password
If you have forgotten your password, complete the Forgotten Password form and a link to reset your password will be sent to the email address you provided when you registered.
If you have an older AddThis account and need to retrieve a username, you can sign in with your email address. If you created more than one account with the same email address and receive an error, you may need to recover your original username. Just enter the email address you used when you registered, and we will send a message to you with any username(s) we have associated with that email address.
