How do I submit a demo to Universal Music Group?

Unfortunately, Universal Music Group does not accept unsolicited material. Your material must be recommended to one of our labels' A&R departments by a well-known manager, agent, producer, radio DJ or other music industry professional.

I am interested in licensing music for one of my projects (motion pictures, television and radio, commercial, live performance, home video, in-house video, ringtones, consumer products/merchandise, karaoke, and other projects)? How do I go about doing this?

If you are unsure whether UMPG is the proper contact for your request, information on a song’s publishing company is usually found on the album’s packaging.

I believe that I may be owed royalties from Universal Music Group, who may I contact for assistance?

If you believe you are owed either artist or mechanical royalties, or have not received a statement, we may not have your correct address on file. Please use the address search function at http://umgroyalty.com/wearelooking.aspx to verify if you are on the mailing list.
