This is a new voice for Australia -
one that falls outside the Sydney/Melbourne east coast axis
- with young Aboriginal film makers telling their stories.
All films are touched by the past but deliver a unique
contempory indigenous perspective.

From all round Australia, the first
National Indigenous Documentary Series features
eight half hour documentaries - three internally produced films
from ABC's Indigenous Program Unit and five commissioned
from independent Indigenous Film Makers.
