November 1966, 732 Communication Squadron was re-designated as 742 Communication Squadron and in 1998 was renamed the 742 Signal Squadron.

To celebrate 40 years the 742 Signal Squadron hosted 40th birthday celebrations in November of 2006.

The 742 Signal Squadron invited those who had been involved with the squadron during the past 40 years to attend the celebration. The squadron thanks those of you who could attend and participate.
