Country Music Artist Jessie FarrellWhat better place to celebrate B.C. Day long weekend than in Victoria? This year, British Columbians have extra incentive to journey to the capital city during the holiday weekend: Festival 150. The Provincial Capital Commission, along with community partners and sponsors, is hosting this major public event in celebration of BC150.

The free family-oriented celebration will take place from Aug. 1-4 in the Inner Harbour. On Aug. 4, British Columbians will have the opportunity to celebrate B.C. Day at a concert finale on the lawn of the B.C. Parliament Buildings that will feature a special acoustic performance by international recording artist Sarah McLachlan.
