The 2010 Journal Citation Reports©, containing the official 2009 Impact Factors, show that Cell Press continues to maintain a level of excellence, publishing some of the most highly-cited scientific research and reviews.

The newest Cell Press titles showed remarkable Impact Factor growth: Cell Stem Cell’s rating rose to 23.563 (a 40% increase from the journal’s previous score), and Cell Host & Microbe’s jumped to 13.021 (a 75% increase). Again for another year, Cell remains at the top of its field as the number 1 research journal in the Cell Biology and Biochemistry & Molecular Biology subject categories, with an Impact Factor of 31.152. Molecular Cell saw an impressive 13% increase to 14.608.

We are equally pleased that our 14 Trends reviews journals had strong showings across all the titles, with notable increases for Trends in Cognitive Sciences, up to 11.664, and Trends in Neurosciences, up to 12.974. The American Journal of Human Genetics, a society journal within the Cell Press publishing portfolio, saw its Impact Factor jump 21% to 12.303.
