swimmer1.jpg (10701 bytes)The CABC is a non-profit multi-sport organization which presently has a membership of over 1500 individual coaches from throughout British Columbia (BC) and other parts of Canada. The Board of Directors of the CABC is made up of representatives from each of the eight (8) geographical regions of BC, as well as representatives from Disabled Sports, Aboriginal Sport and Recreation Association and Promotion Plus.

The CABC is one of several coaching associations throughout Canada. At the National level, the Canadian Professional Coaches Association (CPCA) is located in Ottawa and provides support services to those coaches who have attained level 4 in the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP), and who have paid a membership fee into the CPCA.
