COMDEX/Canada '97 sets new benchmark

60,000 business professionals experience the future of IT first-hand, at Canada's largest IT event

Taking place at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, Toronto, COMDEX/Canada 97, including WINDOWS WORLD and CONNECTED COMPUTING, hosted more than 500 exhibiting companies covering the entire spectrum of information technology, with a focus on networking computing, the Internet and multimedia. More than 60,000 business professionals participated in on-site demonstrations of thousands of new products at Canada's largest technology trade show and conference.

Due to the success of this year's event, next year’s show is already filling up

Major exhibiting companies such as Toshiba of Canada Ltd., Canon Canada, Intel Corporation, Panasonic Canada, CompuServe, Minolta Canada and Xerox Canada have already resigned for next year – with plans to increase their presence at next year's show.

This one-stop shop for customized Microsoft-based solutions boasted over 50 exhibitors. The pavilion showcased the next generation of Windows- and Microsoft-based solutions, from Microsoft's leading partners.
