Comic-Con 2005: Reloaded!
Comic-Con International heads into its
36th BIG YEAR!
Comic-Con International 2004 seems like it was just yesterday, but
we're already working on the big event for 2005! What can you expect
to see? Well, it's too early to spill all the beans, but you can count
on a number of things, including the largest Exhibit
Hall in the country, chock- full of great comics, original art,
action figured, DVDs, movie memorabilia, books and more. We're working
on another full schedule of programming, anime,
gaming events, films,
the return of the Comic-Con International
Independent Film Festival, the Eisner
Awards, the Masquerade and much,
much more. Everything you've come to know and love about Comic-Con
will be back.
2004 witnessed another staggering increase in Comic-Con attendance
with over 87,000 individual attendees coming to the event.
That's 87,000 persons (4-day memberships count as one person, not
4) that came, saw, conquered and more-than- likely purchased some
pretty cool stuff!
This first major website update of 2005 showcases our special guests that are confirmed for
July 14-17 at the San Diego Convention Center. Some of the special
themes we're working on for 2005 can be found on our Souvenir
Book are also listed on the Programming
page. Check out the other links to explore the complete world of Comic-Con
International, and look at last year's pages to see what you missed
(or enjoyed) at Comic-Con 2004,
including the complete schedules for programming,
anime, and the winners of
the Eisner Awards and the Masquerade.
Comic-Con 2005 is a constantly changing event, so please check back
often for updates. As always, this page will be your gateway into
everything that's new and exciting.
