2004: Another Record-Setting Year for Comic‑Con!

Over 87,000 attendees make Comic‑Con
the biggest event of its kind!


Comic‑Con International just keeps growing! Over 87,000 individual attendees came to the 2004 event, making it by far the largest comics and pop culture convention in the country, if not the entire Western Hemisphere!

Attendees could choose from close to 300 programming events (with more than 60 percent of them devoted to comics), a Film Festival with 50 films, the Eisner Awards, the Masquerade, and hours upon hours of Films, Gaming, and Anime.
