Your mom may have told you to stop spending so much time in front of the TV, but at Comic-Con, we think of those boxes and flat screens as family members. So with that in mind, here's a hit list of the TV talent that came to the event.

FOX featured the wonderful Eliza Dushku, who signed autographs and previewed the second season of Tru Calling; Simpsons creator Matt Groening was also on hand to announce some upcoming surprises for the longest-running sitcom/animated series on television.

As always, animation had a huge presence at Comic-Con. Disney brought in Gary Baseman, creator of the popular TV series and movie Teacher's Pet, while Disney's sister company, ABC Family Channel, offered a look at Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go!

Cartoon Network introduced Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends and The Life and Times of Juniper Lee and discussed Megas XLR. They also devoted two panels to the popular Adult Swim block of shows, including how to pitch your own story ideas to Adult Swim.

Warner Bros. Animation offered sneak peeks at the upcoming seasons of Justice League Unlimited, Teen Titans, and the new Batman animated series. Plus, WB offered a screening of the Mucha Lucha movie.

Nickelodeon's new series 'Avatar'
Nickelodeon previewed its new series Avatar and offered a panel with Butch Hartman, creator of Danny Phantom and Fairly Oddparents. On the more adult side, Comedy Central introduced some of the talent from their upcoming animated "reality" series Drawn Together.
