Welcome to the
Culture and Recreation
Portal!

Fine arts, football and festivals - it's all here!

You will find over 1800 websites and 800,000 pages about Australia's culture and recreation.

The site was launched by The Hon Peter McGauran MP, Minister for the Arts and Centenary of Federation, at the OZeCulture Conference, on 13 June 2001.

It's mid winter - so perhaps some indoor activities would be fun? A walk through the Art Gallery of New South Wales, a virtual exhibition at Australian Museums and Galleries Online (AMOL) or a quiet book by the fire from OzAuthors.com.au? Of course in the Northern Territory, the warm dry weather beckons a lot of visitors. For things to do in NT, check out the Northern Territory Visitors Centre.
