Operational Area
Our Operational area covers the Calderdale, Bradford & Leeds police divisons; Basically speaking we cover West Yorkshire to the north of the M62 /M621.
We work closely with the Police and Ambulance service to locate, treat and recover lost or injured people from the south pennine moors around Calderdale, Keighley, Baildon and Ilkley. Over recent years we have been increasingly called upon to conduct searches for vulnerable missing people in urban areas of Leeds, Bradford, Halifax and Keighley.
We will respond to requests for assistance from other teams and over the past few years have helped out with emergencies in South Yorkshire, The Peak District, North Wales and Ireland.
