FAST FACT:

The Langley Times won the prestigious Alcan Ma Murray Community Service Award, for newspapers with a circulation of 10,0001 or more, and the 2001 Sport BC Kaizen Media Award, for their coverage of the 2000 BC Games for Athletes with a Disability.  They took a lead role in promoting and publicizing the Games, staging an event that inspired not only the people of Langley but of British Columbia .
