Deacon Jones Foundation: Relaunched

A few interesting things you might not know about this football player.... He coined the word 'sack'. If that isn't cool enough, he is also the first football player to perfect the 'head-slap'. In later years, I found out, that is an illegal move in today's NFL game.

Enough with the pretending of knowing football lingo, Deacon Jones has relaunched his new foundation website. Of course, our company had the privledge of putting this together for the Deac and company. And as usual; the meta specs: xhtml 1.0 Transitional, standards compliant. DOM standards only. CSS driven. Yada yada.

Toying with the idea of a png layout

I'm all about making a website look fairly similar in all browsers. But recently I thought to myself how much fun it would be to completely throw aside ie6 and its failure to support png alpha transparency. I mean, nevermind its css layout inconsistencies, that has never been a problem working around that. But just think of the possibilities of designing with alpha transparency over lame-o gifs.
