As we start a new academic year and return to in-person teaching, the department welcomes back our undergraduate and graduate students. We invite incoming undergraduate students to look at the vast array of courses offered in the course catalog, and encourage Ph.D. students to attend the workshops offered in your field of study throughout the year. 2021-22 Arvid Anderson Fellows

The Cowles Foundation has announced the 2021-22 recipients of the Arvid Anderson Prize Fellowship in Economics.  The five graduate students are:  Haoge Chang, Zara Contractor, Lucas Finamor, Tan Gan, and Ryungha Oh

Senior Thesis Spotlight

Yale Women in Economics congratulates all seniors in the Economics Department for their four years of hard work. Join us as we spotlight the research of four of our seniors —Alya Ahmed, Anna Hope Emerson, Lauren Harris, and Melissa Lu— as they present their senior theses on May 7 at 1pm. Each presentation will be followed by a short question and answer session.
