Panel on biological hazards (BIOHAZ)
BSE/TSE Scientific Reports
The Panel on biological hazards (BIOHAZ ) is responsible for providing scientific advice with regard to the risks of BSE/TSE. In addition to responding to specific requests for scientific advice from risk managers, it carries out regular work to assess the Geographical BSE Risk in countries around the world and evaluates the results of the EU-level testing programme to detect BSE/TSE in European ruminant populations.
