Panel on food contact materials, enzymes, flavourings and processing aids (CEF)
The Panel on food contact materials, enzymes, flavourings and processing aids (CEF) deals with questions on the safety of use of materials in contact with food, enzymes, flavourings and processing aids, and also with questions related to the safety of processes.

The CEF Panel has become operative on 10 July 2008 after the Former Panel on food additives, flavourings, processing aids and materials in contact with food has been replaced by two new Panels: the Panel on food additives and nutrient sources added to food (ANS) and the Panel on food contact materials, enzymes, flavourings and processing aids (CEF).
