Since its establishment in 2002, EFSA has given great importance to the involvement of interested parties in its areas of competence. EFSA acknowledges the importance of close collaboration with stakeholders by encouraging dialogue in this respect and intends to build further on this in the future. To this end EFSA has taken a series of measures intended to involve stakeholder participation in its work.
