Customized Map Services

The GeoAccess Division of Geomatics Canada currently provides customized map services to other government departments, agencies, crown corporations and the private sector. Customized maps can be developed, using small scale digital base maps, for Canada, North America, and the World.

These digital base maps lend themselves to the addition of spatial information relevant to the client. It is possible, therefore, to create title boxes incorporating appropriate design elements specific to each customer, as well as, including customized map and graphic insets.

Customized digital base maps can be used as input to Geographic Information Systems, as well as for electronic publishing purposes. Digital map bases may also be used to produce conventional paper wall maps for display and educational purposes.
