The FREE AutoDesk MapGuide plugin viewer is required to access "The Map Place". Click on the AutoDesk icon to acquire the viewer.

Features of the Map Place

Create your own maps interactively using interactive data sets that are updated on a regular basis.

Create reports from selected themes and objects.

You can search by:

	Mineral Potential TRACTS
	MINFILE (commodities, names, and deposit types.)
	GEOLOGY (age, lithology, and terrains)
	CLAIMS (anniversary dates)

Links to data sources:

	Digital Geological Maps and Mineral Assessment information for download.
	Map Place maps use the MINERAL TITLES and PETROLEUM TITLES data bases interactively.
	The Map Place has links to the MINFILE, MINERAL POTENTIAL, and ARIS sites where data can be downloaded.
	Provides details on Mineral Tenures and Free Miners in British Columbia.
	The Map Place is interactive with the Geological Survey of Canada data bases.
	The Map Place contains an index of Terrain Maps.
