The government of B.C. is committed to enhancing mineral
title administration by moving towards an Internet-based map selection
system. Using "Mineral Titles Online," a free miner will acquire
mining rights by selecting a claim on an electronic map, rather than
staking a claim on the ground.
This website shares information and plans about Mineral
Titles Online (MTO) with you—free miners, the mining industry,
and other interested parties. The introduction and five main sections
of this site are listed in the left column. To move through the site,
use the links in the left column or the "Back" and "Next"
buttons at the bottom of each page.
If you want to print the entire site or a specific section,
use the links in the right column under "Download printable documents."
The right column also includes an Email link to the Titles Branch for
suggestions, and links to a glossary of terms and a feedback form that
will allow us to gather input from you on what guidelines and rules
should apply to ensure a fair, efficient, and equitable system.
