The British Columbia Forest Service Protection Program is NO LONGER accepting applications for Fire Crew Member positions for the 2001 fire season.

If you are interested in becoming a wildfire fighter for the 2002 fire season, check this page in early October 2001 to find out how to request an application package. You must apply with an application.

In addition to submitting a completed application package, you must also submit proof of:

  • A valid WCB Occupational First Aid Level 1 with Transportation Endorsement certificate. These certificates must be valid through September 2001.
  • For Rapattack: You must possess a valid OFA Level 3. This must be valid through September 2001.
