Cariboo Initial Fire Attack Crew - CIFAC

There are eleven 3-person initial attack crews at CIFAC, located at the Cariboo Fire Centre. Crews are transported to fires by helicopter and by truck. They can be repositioned to CIFAC-Puntzi at Puntzi Mountain in the Chilcotin, as well as throughout the province and across the country. Crews are equipped to remain at a fire site for up to 24 hours.
