Canada Day at Rideau Hall
Rideau Hall, Canada Day’s new official site, will host a day of family celebrations on July 1st.
In the morning, residents and visitors are invited to join families from across the country as they become new Citizens of Canada at a special ceremony. This ceremony will be presided over by Her Excellency, the Governor General of Canada and is presented by Citizenship and Immigration Canada as part of the 60th anniversary of Canadian citizenship. During the day, festival-goers are invited to bring their picnic and enjoy free multicultural entertainment during the annual Canada Day CHIN picnic featuring Karl Wolf, MacKendy with Kale, Andre Ibrahim, the Stars of Lebanon Band, international dancers, and much more...
