Welcome to the HWG-HTML mailing list
This list is used by the HTML Writers Guild to discuss the HTML language. This includes the various approved or proposed standards, Netscapisms, MSIEisms, tables, frames, and style sheets. This does NOT include discussion of Java, JavaScript, ActiveX, CGI, or SSI. Java, JavaScript, and ActiveX are all topics for hwg-newtech, while CGI and SSI are appropriate topics for hwg-servers.
Discussion of preferred methods of implementation are always somewhat subjective in nature and can generate a great deal of strong emotion. Please keep your messages on-topic, civil, and provide facts and references to back up any opinions stated within.

Subscribers of the hwg-html mailing list are expected to follow basic rules of netiquette in a civilized manner; please read over the guidelines.
