B.C., TAKU RIVER TLINGIT BUILD PLAN FOR SUSTAINABILITY
ATLIN - The Province and the Taku River Tlingit First Nation are working together to create a plan for sustainable use of natural resources in northwestern B.C. and have signed a framework agreement to solidify their commitment, Agriculture and Lands Minister Pat Bell and Taku River Tlingit First Nation spokesperson Sandra Jack announced today.

$500K SPURS ECONOMIC GROWTH IN QUEEN CHARLOTTE ISLANDS
QUEEN CHARLOTTE - The Province is demonstrating its support for the communities of Haida Gwaii/Queen Charlotte Islands by providing $500,000 to help create an office that will co-ordinate economic development opportunities on the islands, Agriculture and Lands Minister Pat Bell announced today at the Forest Service office in Queen Charlotte.

VANCOUVER - Nearly half of the land base of Haida Gwaii will rest within protected areas as a result of a strategic land-use agreement announced by Premier Gordon Campbell and Guujaaw, President of the Council of the Haida Nation.
