Welcome to Jesus College Oxford

Located in the heart of the city, just a few minutes’ walk from the University’s libraries, science campus and humanities buildings, and with shops and restaurants on the doorstep, Jesus College combines the highest standards of academic excellence in teaching and research with a vibrant, inclusive and supportive community.

Amongst our Fellows, Lecturers and Tutors are many world-class academics, working at the boundaries of interdisciplinary research in the information age. Our undergraduate and graduate students come from a wide range of backgrounds, countries and cultures. We aim to attract the brightest minds, and are committed to raising aspiration and improving social mobility through a programme of bursaries and outreach.

Celebrating our 450th Anniversary

This year we are celebrating our 450th anniversary. We have a diverse programme of events and activities across the year for alumni and friends, including films and talks about College life and people through the ages, and our digital 12 Objects exhibition series which showcases just some of the treasures in our collections.

Transforming learning and research in the 21st century

In 2022 our new £40m Cheng Yu Tung Building will open on the historic Northgate site in the heart of Oxford. Combining new accommodation, indoor and outdoor communal spaces, state-of-the-art teaching facilities and the latest digital technologies, tradition will meet innovation to enrich learning for our students and enhance the world-leading academic research of our Fellows.
