In Focus
Though they all gather in Sterling Law Building's classrooms and courtyard to study essentially the same subject, the students at Yale Law School are invariably variable, hailing from across the country and across the globe, and bringing with them their own mix of talents and interests. And just as there is diversity among the student ranks, so too is there a surprising amount of diversity in the study of law at YLS. The Law School offers 185 courses each year. Add to that opportunities for independent research and writing, and the prospect of studying law takes on new depth and breadth.
